A kaleidoscope of life images /leading into unknown landscapes / but realms oh so deeply known / Joy of power spoken / richness of being human. (L.P.)

Pauline Prior-Pitt has initiated (and inspires !)  the Uist Writer’s Group, a bunch of people with a shared enthusiasm for creative writing. They meet the first Saturday of the month throughout the year at Taigh Chearsabhagh Museum and Art Centre in Lochmaddy, North Uist. For further information, email:  pauline@pauline-prior-pitt.com

In this interview Pauline talks about her love for poetry, her reasons for living in the Hebrides, the poets who inspired her, the wish to see more people writing and sharing their work, the creating of the pamphlet of the Uist Writer’s Group which will be launched the 14th of June  2012 in Taigh Chearsabhagh as part of ART ON THE MAP. We can also listen to two of her poems.
